Dr. Christiana Redeaux (Dr. Christy) is a licensed clinical social worker, educator, and advocate with over a decade of experience in mental health. A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, her master’s in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her doctorate in social work from Simmons University, where her studies focused on reducing bias in healthcare.Her work centers on creating spaces where people can heal, grow, and show up as their fullest selves. Christiana is also deeply committed to service and leadership as a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Iota Sweethearts, Inc. where she focuses on sisterhood and community impact. Outside of her professional and volunteer work, she enjoys adrenaline-filled activities like riding roller coasters and watching scary movies. When she is not serving with these organizations, you will find her spending time with loved ones or adventuring with her dog Frankie.
